I got into Star Trek because I wanted to see the new movie (ST XI) when it came out, but I felt I should learn about Trek beforehand so that I could enjoy it to the utmost. Miri aired in some markets on the same night as Balance of Terror. Others will have to wait until June, I believe, for the "rerun." Unfortunately, no one seems to have taken screenshots of it, so comparison information is rather scarce.
